These include processing new hires, implementing compensation changes, answering timesheet and pay-related inquiries, and overseeing system upgrades and enhancements. 	Academic Payroll Workflow
	The Academic Payroll Workflow team supports faculty, lecturers, researchers, and academic appointees. We manage appointment processing, compensation changes, and contract administration. The team ensures compliance with Academic Personnel policies while facilitating accurate and timely pay for UC Merced’s teaching and research community.
	Staff & Student Payroll Workflow
	The Staff & Student Payroll Workflow team administer transactions for career, limited, contract, and student employees. This includes hiring, pay adjustments, position changes, and leave processing. The team ensures compliance with UC policy and collective bargaining agreements while delivering accurate and efficient payroll services to UC Merced staff.
	Student Employment Services
	The Student Employment Services team supports UC Merced's undergraduate students find on-campus job opportunities to help fund their education while building valuable work experience. We guide students and hiring managers through the standardized hiring process. We offer consultation, training, and resources to ensure a smooth and informed recruitment experience.
	Workforce Onboarding Hub
	The Workforce Onboarding Hub team supports UC Merced’s new hire & re-hire employees with having a smooth integration into the organization. The team provides pre-boarding support, including on-site appointment for hiring paperwork completion, which is required for entry into the UCPath system.
	Human Capital Management (HCM) Systems Support
	As a subunit of Payroll Services, the HCM Systems Support team maintains and improves UC Merced's financial and HR systems. We focus on integrating new technologies, resolving system issues, and ensuring seamless operations across platforms. We offer smart, responsive solutions to meet the evolving needs of the campus community.
