Welcome to Payroll Services

UC Merced Payroll Services manages the university's payroll functions, working closely with the UCPath Center for the processing and managing of payroll, benefits, and human resources transactions. Payroll Services has specific roles and responsibilities (pdf) for a variety of processes:

  • Processing of payroll and payroll adjustments.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Administering the Time Reporting System (TRS) for employees to submit their work hours.
  • Managing student employment and providing information and resources related to student employment opportunities and procedures.
  • Providing campus with support and guidance on payroll related matters.
  • Supporting Human Capital Management systems.

TRS Notice: TRS Supervisors Timesheet Recall - Bug Reported
If a timesheet recall is needed, please use our Payroll Services Inquiry form. The TRS team is working on resolving the identified defect.
