Student Employment Services, in collaboration with the Student Career Center, is excited to announce the winners of the National Student Employee Appreciation Week Department Decorating Contest.
Thank you to the 14 participating departments-your creativity and enthusiasm certainly made this year’s celebration outstanding.
Winning departments will receive up to $150 of campus catering for a celebration to be held during the Spring 2026 semester.
Congratulations to our winners and Thank YOU to all departments for recognizing the importance of our student employees.
- Departmental Theme Winner: The UC Merced Library impressed the judges with their Harry Potter theme and detail appearing from end to end throughout the department's suite.
- Message of Appreciation Winner: School of Natural Sciences delivered a heartfelt message that every student employee is royalty.
- Creativity & Visual Appeal Winner: Transportation, Parking & Fleet Services stood out with their unique Cookie theme, sharing that without their student employees, their department would crumble.
