Reminder: If an employee is unable to submit their timesheet, it is the supervisor’s responsibility to create and submit it on the employee’s behalf.

UC Merced Payroll Services manages the university's payroll functions, working closely with the UCPath Center for the processing and managing of payroll, benefits, and human resources transactions. Payroll Services has specific roles and responsibilities for a variety of processes:

• Processing of payroll and payroll adjustments.
• Ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
• Administering the Time Reporting System (TRS) for employees to submit their work hours.
• Managing student employment and providing information and resources related to student employment opportunities and procedures.
• Providing campus with support and guidance on payroll related matters.
• Supporting Human Capital Management systems.
