Furlough/Start PTR Announcement

 

Greetings PTR Users:


The recent implementations of the Furlough/Salary Reduction and Staff and Academic Reduction in Time (START) programs have raised many questions regarding how time under these two programs will be recorded in PTR. To accommodate the furlough/salary reduction program, PTR was updated to include tracking and reporting tools for furlough accruals and usage. We have posted a link on the PTR homepage under “News and Announcements” which provides a tutorial on viewing accruals, recording furlough time and providing supervisor oversight of furlough usage. The START program did not require any changes to PTR, but we have included in the tutorial clarification on how time reduction under START should be recorded.
