For employees who are paid biweekly, full premiums for medical and legal insurance are deducted on the first biweekly payday of the month while all other premiums are divided and deducted from each biweekly paycheck. 

The University of Califonia, Merced works in coordination with the Payroll Services Department at UCLA, which provides/maintains the biweekly benefits deduction schedule that we utilize.

The Biweekly Benefits Deduction Schedule highlights the paydays on which the full medical and legal premiums are deducted and shows the coverage periods to which all other insurance premiums are applied.
