​​Welcome to UC Merced Payroll Services!

We are a team of payroll professionals dedicated to servicing the faculty, staff, students, post doctorals, lecturers and scholars. We are committed to excellence and dedicate our services: 

  • to ensure timely and accurate administration of payroll in accordance with Federal, State and University rules, regulations and policies
  • administering and remitting employee deductions
  • training staff of the payroll systems and updating the campus community to the changes in rules, regulations and policies
  • promoting the use of online self service for tax withholding, direct deposit enrollment/change, earning statements and W-2

​News and Announcements

 
Contribution rates to the UC Retirement Plan (UCRP) for both the University and Faculty/Staff will increase effective July 1, 2013 - the University will pay 12 percent of pay, up from 10 percent and contributions for faculty and staff will rise to 6.5 percent of pay, up from 5 percent (contributions for union-represented employees are subject to collective bargaining where applicable).
 
Form I-9 Verfication Training - The first of 3 Form I-9 Verifcation training session this summer will be June 20, 2013 from 8:30am - 4pm, located at Fresno Pacific University - 3379 "G" Street, Building P, Room 104.  Enrollment is open NOW.
 
Vacation Maximum Compliance - In preparation for UCPATH (single systemwide payroll and human resources system), Human Resources will begin reviewing employee leave accrual information for policy compliance.
