 Elect for Electronic For W-2 and Form 1095-C11/21/2016

If you haven't done so, please log onto At Your Service Online (AYSO) to elect for electronic W-2 and 1095-C. Electronic election saves paper, reduces cost to the UC, quick & secure and allows you, the employee, to receive your documents earlier for a head start on your tax return.

BW Pay Online Earning Statement Notification The server that sends out email notification that online earning statements are available for viewing is down. This does not affect the online earning statement, it is currently available for viewing in At Your Service Online. This will be fixed by the next pay date.​

 2016 Campus Winter Curtailment9/29/2016

UC Merced will officially close for the 2016 Campus Winter Curtailment for 11 days, beginning Friday, December 23, 2016 thru onday, January 2, 2017. UC Merced will reopen on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

The closure period includes 4 days of University paid holiday (December 23, 26, 30 and January 2) and 3 days of curtailment days (December 27, 28, 29); where accrued vacation, compensatory time off or leave without pay will need to be used.

 Open Enrollment Benefits Fair 2016 9/28/2016

Open Enrollment begins October 27, 2016 to November 22, 2016. The Benefits Office will be hosting the Open Enrollment Fair on October 28, 2016 from 11:00AM - 2:00PM @ Joseph E. Gallo Recreation & Wellness Center (Gym). Central Payroll Services will have a table at the Fair, please come by and visit us.

 UCOP to Migrate Server Infrastructure: Impact to At Your Service Online (AYSO) - Upcoming closure to AYSO4/15/2016
The Office of the President (UCOP) is in the process of a major project to relocateits server infrastructure from an Oakland building to other UC locations. This project is known as the "MOTIVE" project.

In addition to the relocation, UCOP will be migrating and converting the data that supports AYSO to Microsoft SQL. AYSO will beclosed from Friday, 4/22/16 to Sunday 4/24/16.

 Affordable Care Act (ACA)2/1/2016
Effective January 1, 2016, ACA Regulations introduce changes that apply to all UC Employees. New provisions will make it easier for you to maintain your UC coverage, or you may be among the roughly 5,000 employees who are newly eligible for the CORE Benefits Package (including the UC-paid CORE medical plan).

Here's What You Need to Do with Forms 1095-A, 1095-B and 1095-C:
Employees may receive one or more forms that provide information about 2015 Health Coverage.

 AYSO W2 News1/27/2016

​A technical issue arose in the W2 AYSO application that appears to impact only one campus. Under an abundance of caution, teh application have been shut down tiemporarily to resolve the issue. No definite date of when the application will reopen can be provided, but the AYSO Team is working with utmost urgency to restore AYSO W2 access as soon as possible.


1/28/16: The W2 application in AYSO is back up this morning.

 Central Payroll Staff unavailable at KL 2011/8/2016

Central Payroll Staff will NOT be available at KL 201 for walk-in on FRIDAY, January 8, 2016

 2015 Form W-21/5/2016

For employees who elected for electronic W-2, you should receive an email notifying you that your 2015 Form W-2 is available for viewing no later than the 3rd week of January.  

For employees who elected to receive a paper W-2, your Form W-2 will be post marked by Janaury 31, 2016. You will receive the 2015 Form W-2 at the address listed in the Payroll System shortly thereafter.

 OASDi Limit in 20161/4/2016

​Effective January 1, 2016:

There are no changes to the OASDI & Medicare rates.
